In early 2007, we wrote down ten concepts and ten color schemes then randomly selected one of each to present a cohesive series of work once complete.  Below is a sampling from each collection so far.

 #1.  TITLE:  Lip Service

• Concept: the mouth
• Scheme: any two primary colors with black and white

This series focuses on the aesthetic value and perception of the human mouth shown through primary red, yellow, or blue with black & white.  Lip Service  is about the pursuit of true beauty, adhering to cultural expectations, fulfilling stereotypes, and rebellion.

 

#2.  TITLE:  Luv

• Concept: love
• Scheme: blues, purples, with white and silver

The “love” series, slated to debut early 2010, will focus on the phyiscal, emotional, and spiritual impact of mankind’s most basic phenomenon.
